Matcha is known to be the finest green tea in the world, as it is made from whole young leaves grown on shaded bushes that are dried and then powdered.
Because the whole leaf is used, a higher concentration of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals are present in a cup of matcha tea. This also makes it more stimulating than other green teas.
