ORGANIC APPLES, diced, unsulfured
Country of Origin: Chile or China
Ingredients: whole apple, organic guar gum, organic sunflower lecithin
Qualities: Apple contains a wide range of antioxidants including quercetin, a type of flavonoid which may help regulate blood sugar by inhibiting the enzymes that digest carbohydrates, thus slowing down the release of sugars into the bloodstream.
Apple is a good source of vitamin C and it boosts the body's production of collagen (a protein found abundantly in the skin). Apples contain pectin, a soluble dietary fiber, which helps to maintain colon health. Apple powder may also help to protect against inflammatory bowel disease.
Further research suggests that both antioxidant compounds and pectin may play a role in promoting cardiovascular health and that pectin, in particular, may help to maintain healthy cholesterol levels.
Common Use: Apple powder tastes sweet and slightly tangy. It is excellent as a nutrition boost in sprinkled on porridge or in granola or trail mixes to add a little sweet apple taste.
Storage: Keep well-sealed in cool, dark, and dry conditions.

These are absolutely delicious. Kids love them as a snack, they are great in trail mix and I even use them in tea and many more products. They are absolutely incredible and add a perfect apple flavour to anything you make and are delicious just by themselves.
New favourite staple!
I love having these in the pantry so that I can throw chopped apple in to almost anything even when I don't have much time. The kids love them so much I have to hide the bag!
Organic Apples Unsulfured
Good product. However I was disappointed about the origin of the apples :China ... It seems to me that we have many good products produced locally in Canada so why import apples from China ? Doesn't make sense ... This being said, I was very satisfied with the quality of the product.
