Botanical Name: Rosa canina
Origin: South Africa / Bulgaria
Production: Rosehips develop on wild rose bushes as the pink flower petals drop off in early summer and ripen throughout the summer months. The rose hip, also known as "hip berry", is actually the fruit of the rose.
Qualities: Nutritionally, rose hips are most commonly known for their high concentration of vitamin C, making rose hip an incredible immune booster and wellness ingredient. Additionally, rose hips are found to be anti-inflammatory and supportive of healthy bones and joints. Rose hips also contain vitamins A, D, and E, flavonoids, and iron.
Common Use: Rosehips are commonly used in herbal teas, syrups, and tinctures. In powder form, they can easily be added to dishes to increase nutrition, or added to juices and smoothies. This is especially great during the cold and flu season!
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in an airtight container. Refrigeration not required.
Safety: We recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using any herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications.

Organis rosehips
Thank you for carrying this. I use it in an herbal tea with hibiscus, and lemon balm sweetened with delicious honey that I buy here. Lots of good effects.

Great quality!
I use them in my elderberry syrup for extra vitamin C.

I use organic rose hips in my smoothies or add to my tea mix. It’s an excellent source of vitamin C and other good minerals. Rosehips are the great support for our immunity especially in the season of colds and flues.

Reship jam.
I used it to make a rosehip jam. Not quite mastered it but will continue to try.

Rosehip s at the ready!
As much as I love harvesting my own herbs, I sure appreciated that these Rosehips were processed for me so I didn’t have to deal with the fiddly process of removing all the little hairs! Well preserved. Thanks!
