Production: our raw, unrefined flax oil is obtained by simply cold pressing dried ripened whole flax seeds (at temperatures below 49°C or 120°F) assuring optimal preservation of nutritional value and flavor
Qualities: flax oil has long been recognized as one of nature’s most powerful plant sources of Omega 3 fatty acids and contains 50-60% alpha linolenic acid.
Common use: with a mild and pleasantly taste combined with exceptional nutritional density makes it an outstanding choice as a low heat cooking oil and great in salad dressings. Flax oil has a composition similar to skin lipids and is therefore an excellent natural emollient and moisturizer, counteracting aging and dry skin.
Storage: it is recommended to store in cool (refrigerated or frozen), dark and airtight conditions in order to minimize oxidation and prolong its shelf life.
