ORGANIC JASMINE TEA, green
Ingredients: green tea leaves
Certified Organic, Fairtrade
Country of Origin: China
Production: Tea leaves are harvested in early spring and stored until late summer when fresh jasmine flowers are in bloom. The Jasmine flowers are picked early in the morning when they are still closed and kept cool until nightfall. During the night Jasmine flowers open and this is when the tea scenting takes place. Traditionally layers of jasmine blossoms are placed between green tea leaves and stored overnight which is when they release most of their fragrance. Today, hot air is passed through the jasmine blossoms and then filtered through the tea so that the blossoms can be reused to decorate the tea.
Common Use: Jasmine tea is liked by many for its fresh, floral aroma, offering a very pleasant tasting green tea.
Storage: store in a cool, dry, dark place in a well-sealed container.

I love it:)
I'm a total tea drinker and I have a pot of OM's organic Jasmine green every morning. It does appear to be clippings and not whole leaf, as is the purported ideal (and I have usually tried to purchase and drink whole leaf before), but I thoroughly enjoy this tea.
I love the smell of it, I use as regular tea in the morning and sometimes mix it with my favorite black tea.
First time ordering, fast delivery and the jasmine tea is really good and flavorful. Shipping fee is a bit steep but overall I think it's worth it
