Great nuts
I have always loved the freshness and the quality of the nuts I buy from Organic Matters. My serious slip up this past order was I thought I was ordering a bag of organic almonds and got organic almond extract instead. Just a click of the wrong button and voila extract versus nuts.
Never disappointed
These guys are amazing! My husband and I have been ordering for a while and it's perfect all the time.Great product and great service. We are very happy :)
Organic sunnies are a poor man’s nut
Everything gets sunnies- oatmeal, granola, trail mix, top of salad, blended salad dressing as a thickener, baked with maple syrup on a cookie tray into a seed brittle…. On and on
Taste Great!
We use sunflower seeds as a snack and to make non-dairy cheese sauces. They are always fresh and delicious. I am sad when they have to come from China, as my last purchase did, I much prefer when we get them from Canada!! I will not buy again if I know that they are coming all the way from China. Great fresh taste is one thing, but not worth the environmental cost for me.
Yummy Healthy Sunflower seeds
I soak 8 cups sunflower seeds over night in a brine made with 4 T redmonds real salt in a gallon jar, adding more water till the jar is almost to the top. Then I cover with a milk strainer bag, and in the morning tip it over and drain it out, rinse and repeat. Next they are spread on to cooking sheets and placed in a low temperture oven, 120F, stir every 30 minnutes until dry. Sometimes I add seasoning while they are still damp. We eat as a quick snack and springle on most of our meals. Often I do 4 cups pumpkin & 4 cups sunflower seed.
