Great immune booster
I have read that Astragalus Root is very good for the immune system. I have brewed it as a tea but I also add a handful to my homemade vegetable broth while it is simmering.
Teas, Decoctions, Tinctures
Great for immune health and so many other things. I like to make seasonal immune boosting tea mixes, long steep it as a decoction and use alcohol to make tinctures.
Amazing herb!
I love astragalus! I add it to my homemade chai blend (as well as burdock and echinacea). It is an immune booster, and in particular a respiratory support. It has many many other properties that I appreciate as well! I drink my chai every day and enjoy the benefits of astragalus..
Organic Astragalus root
I use it steeped in soups and it adds its nutrients while the soup simmers. Thanks.
Multiple uses for Astragalus Roots
Use it to make tinctures 50% water and 50 % alcoohol based. 50% of the alcool is 94 % proof and the other 50% is Rhum for the taste. Also use the remaining astragalus from the tincture to dry and make powder used in cookies. Will also use the astragalus in powder for soups, in yogurt, etc..
