My wife and I have been making black flake bean dip for years and it's a popular favourite. OM is our only source at this point because the quality is good, they're organic and the price is fantastic. Shipping is fast (Nelson to Central Alberta) and the service is great.
Organic Blace Bean Flakes
I made a thick dip type mixture of this and ate it with cooked veggies and potatoes. I just added hot water, salt, pepper, 7 sea spice blend, and creamy garlic; it was so delicious. As I generally eat hummus this was a nice change.
I make a dynamite huevos rancheros, which is really good with black beans. However regular black beans take a long time to cook properly but I am able to add dried bean flakes to my dish to quickly and easily have black beans with my dish..
