To an untrained eye, the soy beans looked fine until I gave them to my girl friend. Right away, I notified OMfoods and they gave me a full refund and shipping. I very much appreciated for their prompt action! I do hope that in the near future OMFoods can arrange for an expert to double check the qualities of all the dry goods before shipping them out. Because they have this two-week return policy, i couldn't get my refund on the other bag of mouldy soybeans which I bought just a month ago to give it a try. Well, thank god I didn't eat them as mouldy beans are carcinogenic.
Correcting previous review
The first review was not accurate. The more I know about soybeans they sent to me, the more I am getting mad. I tried to make soybean spout after selecting a lot of rotten and broken beans. I found out none of them is alive. Their soybeans are at least 5 percent rotten and all dead. The soybean shouldn't be neither sold nor consumed.
A lot of rotten ones and not fresh
I found at least two rotten beans in a handful grasp. If I include partially rotten ones, around 2 percent of beans are bad. It is hard to sort out bad ones. I boiled beans and there is no sweet taste rather it is bitter. Bean takes twice more to be boiled. Absolutely, beans are not fresh.
Great for soy milk
I make soy milk with these and ferment it for baking. The quality seems good, and the taste is good. Thanks!
