Botanical Name: Linum usitatissimum

Origin: Canada / USA
Production: our raw, unrefined flax oil is obtained by simply cold pressing dried ripened whole flax seeds (at temperatures below 49°C or 120°F) assuring optimal preservation of nutritional value and flavor
Qualities: flax oil has long been recognized as one of nature’s most powerful plant sources of Omega 3 fatty acids and contains 50-60% alpha linolenic acid.
Common use: with a mild and pleasantly taste combined with exceptional nutritional density makes it an outstanding choice as a low heat cooking oil and great in salad dressings. Flax oil has a composition similar to skin lipids and is therefore an excellent natural emollient and moisturizer, counteracting aging and dry skin.
Storage: it is recommended to store in cool (refrigerated or frozen), dark and airtight conditions in order to minimize oxidation and prolong its shelf life.

Not kept cold :(

Was not kept cold during shipping, so I won’t purchase this oil from here again. Disappointing as flax oil goes rancid when not kept cold.

Cold pressed flax seed oil is fantastic!

The product is highest quality! I use it as a horse supplement, especially during shedding season. It's fantastic! I also use it for salads, etc. for me. It's delicious!

Helps with inflammation

I bought this for a healthier balance of omega 3 to the omega 6 in mine and my dog’s diet. She has a partially torn CCL and I have back, shoulder, neck injuries and pain. This helps along with fish oil that we both take as well. It also makes for smooth and silky fur, skin, and hair. I put it in my smoothies/coffee and in her food every day. Thanks OM for another great organic product!!

I am not disappointed

I decided to add flax seed oil to my diet in this form rather than pill form and I am not disappointed. This tastes great and feels awesome when I use it on my hands to keep them soft.
