QUINOA PANCAKE MIX

Ingredients: Rice*, quinoa*, cassava starch, sugar*, cream of tartar, baking soda, vanilla essence, and salt. (*)
Origin: Bolivia
Cooking instructions (yields 4-6 pancakes):
- In a small mixing bowl, mix one large egg (or flax mixture: mix 1-2 tbsp milled flaxseed with 3-4 tbsp water, stir until gelatinous) with 1 cup milk or milk alternative (soy, rice, almond or hemp). Slowly mix wet ingredients to 1 cup of dry pancake mix avoiding any clumps. Let the mix rest for three minutes.
- Optional: 1/4 tsp pure vanilla extract or add your favorite berries or chocolate chips to uncooked prepared mix.
- For thinner pancakes use more milk, for thicker pancakes use less milk.
- Heat pancake pan over medium-high heat. Once pan is hot, reduce to medium heat and add coconut oil or butter to the pan.
- Pour pancake mixture onto the heated pan (about 1/2 cup), flip the pancake when bubbles start to show and edges begin to turn golden brown. Enjoy!

Excellent option!
I bought a new waffle maker, I'm gluten and dairy free and haven't had waffles in months! The taste is there! It was so fluffy and delicious. I noticed there wasn't any instructions on how to make it so I just Googled it and bam! Directions. Simple as that. If it's getting stuck to the pan, your pan is dead. Mine turned out incredible. Will use and recommend!!!

True no instructions on the first order we made, however, I simply came back to you site and printed off the instructions. Easy PeasyThe product was very good, Tasted delicious. Cooked in both my nonstick as well as my cast iron. Even our granddaughter who is a bit fussy enjoyed them. Will definitely be ordering this product again.

Quinoa pancake mix
There are no instructions on the package, but I just used 1 cup of the mix, 1 egg, a Tbsp of oil, and added dairy free milk until I got the right pourable consistency and they turned out awesome. I was happy to eat gluten free pancakes that didn't taste bad. If you don't like quinoa, you might not like these, but I love it.

Can't get enough of this blend!
Husband loves these! Admittedly they are a little on the sweet side but we cut back on the maple syrup we usually pour on top and they are absolutely delicious! Mix with oat milk and 1-2 eggs - (can use water or 50/50 milk and water also). We have not had an issue with them sticking to the pan at all... aside from being slightly sweet they cook up great every time.

It's ok
The flavour of this mix is fairly good. My kids really liked that there was a cake flavour in it to start with. Mixing it was no fun though. The instructions on this page are not clear and the bag doesn't have instructions with it. So that was frustrating. It's a good thing I had enough extra milk. I bought the 1lb mix and slowly stirred in 2 cups of milk. That was nowhere near enough milk. I had to double it and I ended up using electric beaters because it was super lumpy and continued to be so even with the beaters, though it wasn't noticeable in the final product, so that's good. Making these was frustrating because the instructions weren't quite adequate. But overall it's a decent mix, though I think it's a little overpriced for what it is.
